There are three events taking place in Calderdale as part of this year’s festival:
Crimsworth Dean: a Philosophical Ramble on Saturday 16th September. An 8 mile (5 hour) walk discussing the fascinating past and uncertain future of this landscape, and the ethics and values of how we preserve it. Meet Outside Hebden Bridge Town Hall, HX7 7BY at 10am.
West Yorkshire Alpacas & Ponies on Saturday 23rd September. Enjoy a short walk and then a chance to interact with the animals and learn all about them. Great views of the Calder Valley from fields located in a peaceful area of farmland on the edge of the moor. The walk is steep and uneven. 10am. £2 per person. Conquer the Wild: Stoodley Pike on Saturday 30th September. A 10 mile guided hike/run to Stoodley Pike. Meeting point Calder Holmes, Hebble End, Hebden Bridge HX7 6HJ. Tickets £4 (Book Tickets Here). Times: Run: 8:30am to 11:30am. Hike: 8:30am to 1:30pm
