This year’s Festival is even more packed with incredible events and activities for you to attend and take part in –over 70 in fact! –all, in 2025 to remember Halifax’s own Anne Lister on her 234th birthday!
The Festival runs from Saturday 29th March–Sunday 6th April (inclusive), and again incorporates the Anne Lister Birthday Week (ALBW).
For the 2025 event the festival is delighted to be hosting the Anne Lister Society (ALS). We are thrilled to once again be welcoming the Society, with academics and visitors from around the world coming to the ALS’s fourth gathering in Halifax, home to and birthplace of Anne Lister, during the Festival.
