We are an independent bookshop which has been serving residents and visitors for over twenty years. We stock a large range of local walking guides, maps, and books about the area. We specialise in books on natural history and landscape, and have a good selection of contemporary fiction. Hebden Bridge has inspired generations of writers and you can find local authors from Ted Hughes to Benjamin Myers on our shelves. We also sell some beautiful cards, notebooks, and jigsaw puzzles.
If we don’t have what you are looking for in stock, our helpful staff can order most books in print to be here the next day.
We are on Market Street near the Co-op. Please note that there is a steep step to the entrance door.
