Seeing is believing! Come and see how we do things in Todmorden by booking one of our Incredible Tours. We’ve hosted groups and individuals from all over the world and they all report that nibbling their way around our town inspires them to go home and get growing!

We are a CIC and offer walking tours around the lovely town of Todmorden. Please see our website to book.  You will need to complete a very straightforward form requesting a tour and we will then make the arrangements with you.

Walking tour: £6 per head.
Presentation and Walking Tour: £10 per head.

The walking tour will take us to various points in the town to look at the vegetable beds, herb gardens and orchards. Volunteers in Todmorden meet for community gardening on first and third Sundays at 10.00 and we garden until midday when we reconvene for a community lunch, which is usually vegetarian or vegan. Dessert is usually available too. You are welcome to join us but if you are more than six people please let us know you are coming. We love having visitors but don’t like to waste food.

The Guided walking tour will take about 90 minutes. You should wear sturdy walking shoes and be aware that the cobblestones can be slippy in wet weather. If you are a wheelchair user you should make a note of this on the booking form so that the route can be changed to accommodate this. After looking at a private garden and a public one, we walk along the canal through the Medical Centre, back up the Halifax Road, to pollination Street, across the Green, along to the Police Station, back down the Burnley Road to the College beds, down to Water Street to look at the riverside and the Town Hall, and back to Morrison’s where we started.
