Holdsworth House is a historic Jacobean manor in Halifax, West Yorkshire. It’s well known for award-winning dining in beautiful, historic rooms overlooking private grounds. Guests visit for traditional afternoon tea or a seat in the gardens or the Long Bar where you can enjoy great coffee, cocktails and a long gin list.

The kitchen focuses on local fresh ingredients. It delivers confident menus, seasonal cooking and flavours that pack a punch. You’ll dine in one of three adjoining dining rooms with open fires, beamed ceilings and mullioned windows overlooking the grounds. Afternoon tea is served daily, with indoor, courtyard and terrace options in warmer weather. Private dining rooms are available for birthday celebrations, anniversaries and Christmas parties.

Whether you’re planning a long lunch, an early evening meal before a Halifax Piece Hall event, or a celebration, Holdsworth House is the number one choice for weddings and special occasions. Guests can also enjoy restorative spa days with lunch at the its Farmhouse Treatment Rooms.

Children are welcome at Holdsworth House and a children’s menu or children’s afternoon tea is available.
