Three spacious, newly converted cottages in Cragg Vale near Hebden Bridge, perfect for couples, families, walkers and cyclists. If you're looking for a relaxing short stay or a base for more energetic activities - we are perfect for you. Set in Cragg Vale, an area of outstanding natural beauty near Hebden Bridge, our old stone building which previously housed tractors and forestry equipment, has been transformed into three quality holiday cottages. The elevated position in a steep-sided wooded valley affords the cottages with fabulous moor and woodland views. Although ""Cragg"" as it is known locally, is secluded and peaceful, it is also a central location for visiting Yorkshire and Lancashire with road and direct rail links to Leeds and Manchester nearby. 300yds from the Calderdale Way and with numerous local walks, the cottages are ideal for people looking to explore the local countryside. With direct access onto the longest continuous incline in England, cyclists can relish the challenge of riding this difficult route up onto the heather clad moors. Mountain bikers have their own set of demanding routes and this area is considered ""A Nexus for mountain bikers"" (Everyday Cycling Magazine).The local moorland golf course offers some majestic views. The local bus ""The Cragg Flyer"" stops just outside the cottages for journeys to Mytholmroyd (2miles), Hebden Bridge (4miles) or just down the road to a true local pub 'The Robin Hood'. The Hinchliffe Arms country restaurant and bar is also within walking distance. We are Walker, Cyclist and Pet friendly.

Our well-equipped workshop is manned by Cytech-qualified mechanics and is the place where great things happen. New bikes are brought into the world, feeble bikes made strong once more and miracles worked with all sorts of previously unfixable disasters! At Blazing Saddles our main objective is to help you find the right bike for your needs. We’re all keen riders in one discipline or more and with many years of experience under our belts of riding the wrong bikes as well as the right ones, we know how important it is that you get a bike which suits you and your riding. We’ve chosen to stock the brands that we do because we feel they offer you the best possible choice, whether you’re a road rider, commuter or mountain biker (or even a mix of all three!)

Delf Nook is a newly renovated property, set in woodland in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, sleeping up to 4. We also welcome up to two well behaved dogs. Delf Nook has its own outdoor seating area with gas BBQ. Inside is a well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, shower room with large walk-in shower, bedroom with king size bed and flat screen tv and lounge area with dining table and large flat screen tv. Wi fi is available throughout and Netflix on both televisions free of charge. Delf Nook has its own private parking area and seating area. Access to the main garden and our private woodland is also available. We are happy to offer a laundry service if required. We are present on site for most of the time but can always be reached via mobile phone. We like to offer our guests a welcome gift on arrival. Basics, such as tea, coffee, sugar and cooking oil are also provided.

The Grayston Unity is an independent bar in the centre of Halifax. We have the distinction of being the smallest music venue in the UK. We're located in a grade 2 listed building that dates back to the 1860s, just yards from 5 yards from the steps to the Town Hall in one of the most historic parts of Halifax. Inside you'll find an eclectic mix of decor and vintage furnishings including a 'front room' with comfy sofas. We have 8 beers on draft or tap, 100+ spirits including around 40+ gins, quality Halifax Wine Co wine, tea and coffee. Tuesday is our events night with music, our Grayston Voices night of guest speakers and the occasional bit of theatre in the back room too. Our lazy Sunday's include free tea and coffee, ale of the day £2.50 pint, selected wine £10 a bottle, free papers (till 5pm). Family friendly till 7pm. Friendly, warm and not shouty. That’s us.
