Bubble, bubble, there’s toil and trouble at Eureka! this October half term, as a coven of witches and a convocation of wizards have flown in to use the children’s museum for their official Halloween recruitment drive. Bring your budding Harry Potters and Mildred Hubbles to Eureka! from Saturday 19th October to Sunday 3rd November to discover whether they belong on #TeamWitch or #TeamWizard! The Eureka! Witches and Wizards will be putting apprentice magicians aged 0-11 years through a series of tasks and tests before they pledge allegiance, while mystical characters from Black Knight Historical will be conjuring up some truly magical classes in the Eureka! Theatre. Grab your capes and hats, broomsticks and wands, chant your favourite transportation spell (or, you know, belt up in the back of the family car) and fly over to Eureka! for an enchanting Halloween half-term day out! Spooky fancy dress encouraged! The museum will be opening its doors early at 9.30am on weekdays throughout half-term for eager visitors wanting to get their magic on before lunchtime. All activities are included in the price of admission or free to Eureka! annual pass holders.
