The cottage is in a semi-rural position approximately 2 miles from Halifax and is ideal for that quiet holiday. Bronte country and the Yorkshire Dales are easily accessible from the area. Halifax has many interesting buildings, museums and galleries. Pets are welcome in the cottage but on the condition that they are not left alone within the cottage. The cottage sleeps 4 and is also non smoking.

The cottage, originally part of a 17th century farmhouse, is newly renovated and is a delightful mix of traditional features and contemporary living and offers the visitor a cosy, characterful alternative to a hotel yet provides the same standard of comfort. Both our cottages have direct access to open countryside and footpaths. We are in a country location within 15 minutes of either Halifax or Huddersfield town centres, and are ideally situated for exploring Bronte Country and historic West Yorkshire. The major tourist attractions of Leeds, Manchester and York are within easy travelling distance. The cottages are fully equipped and furnished to four stars standard and are connected to a wireless broadband network for free internet and email access. Central heating and linen are included, and there are no extras of any kind. Laundry and drying facilities are provided in the cottage.
