    Mount Skip stands alone in an isolated rural location at an altitude of 300m (1000 feet) on a hillside overlooking the Calder Valley. It is approximately one mile to the east of Hebden Bridge town centre and stands within the Green Belt and a Special Landscape Area. We have three rooms - an en-suite family room, en-suite double room and a twin room with a private bathroom. All our rooms are tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. Each room and bathroom has those little added extras - a hospitality tray, a hairdryer and shaving adaptor plug. Even shampoo and shower gel in case you have forgotten yours. Breakfast is an enjoyable experience with a good choice of continental style breakfast which includes freshly made coffee, tea, home-made bread and preserves. For those who prefer there is also a cooked English breakfast where if you wish you can enjoy our local butcher's bacon, sausages and free range eggs. Why not have both? For extra relaxation we have a private guest lounge which has stunning panoramic views. Prices include a full English and /or Continental breakfast and use of the guest lounge with complimentary tea, coffee and sodas. Discounts can be arranged for longer staying guests. This can be discussed at the point of booking or on arrival.

The apartment is accessed through a private door and staircase leading up to the first floor. Here you’ll find the living room, master bedroom, kitchen and main bathroom. A lovely hallway and staircase takes you to the mezzanine bedroom, twin bedroom (with adjoining balcony) and second bathroom. We are dog friendly, however we do ask they are kept out of the bedroom areas. You also have access to a private yard at the rear of the apartment to wash muddy boots and muddy paws before entering the apartment after your daily adventures! Each apartment has parking for one car and all upper floors are accessed via the lift, or you can climb the exterior wooden stairs and use the covered walkways. There is a large separate roof garden/conservatory on the third floor which is available at an additional charge and is ideal for small family parties. The popular town of Hebden Bridge was recently voted best town in Britain for its mix of independent shops, buzzing cafes and bars alongside galleries, gift shops and organic food outlets. Situated on The Calderdale Way and only 6 miles from The Pennine Way, within 13 hectares of beautiful countryside, Jerusalem Farm has fantastic facilities, enabling disabled children and young people to enjoy holidays with their families. Jerusalem Farm worked closely with the parents and carers of disabled children and young people, developng the converted barn to ensure that the facility can be easily used by all visitors. The welcoming atmosphere, stunning scenery and accessible overnight facilities ensure that it's a great place for a relaxing break. The three bedroom accommodation has an adjacent car park with a wheelchair friendly pathway to the barn. Inside, the barn has been designed so that disabled children, young people and their families have all the equipment they need. There's a spacious, specially adapted bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a hoist which can carry people from the bed to the bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen has also been tailored for wheelchair users, with work surfaces and cooking equipment lowered in height. The large terrace is the perfect place to sit and admire the outstandng countryside, spectacular valleys, woodland birds and sometimes even deer!     Old Town Hall Cottage is a comfortably appointed early 17th Century cottage in the historic hamlet of Old Town which was mentioned in the Doomsday Book. The cottage is only one mile from the tourist township of Hebden Bridge. The cottage was built around 1610 and was originally part of Old Town Hall - the principal dwelling house in Old Town. The cottage has been recently renovated by the current owners, which has revealed many original features such as the original stone fireplace, mullion windows and lovely oak beams. The accommodation comprises: Entrance porch with original stonework, leading into: Lounge of generous proportions (16ft square), which is comfortably furnished and includes TV, DVD player, music system, including tape, CD and radio. A selection of books, CD's and DVD's are available within the cottage for guest use. The original stone fireplace now houses a wood burning stove (gas fuelled). There are also exposed stone mullion windows and original oak beams. The lounge is fully carpeted, has fully co-ordinated soft furnishings and is tastefully decorated. Dining kitchen - fully fitted with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. Ample cupboard and storage space, dining table and chairs with terracotta tiled floor. Feature open staircase leading from the lounge to a small landing area. Bathroom with three piece suite, shower over the bath, large airing cupboard, tiled floor, pleasant and secluded outlook over the surrounding countryside. Double bedroom - with double divan bed, dressing table and mirror ample fitted wardrobes and drawer space. Hairdryer also provided. Tastefully decorated with co-ordinated bedding and soft furnishings. Mullion window with countryside views, exposed stonework and original oak beam. Bedroom 2 - with adult bunk beds and chest of drawers. All services, linen and towels are included in the hire charge. Fresh fruit, flowers and a welcome pack provided (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, fruit juice and locally produced biscuits). High chair and travel cot available on request. Private parking for two cars alongside the cottage garden and small patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. The village of Old Town has two public houses selling traditional beers and providing home cooked pub food; both are within 0.5 miles of the cottage. Set in spectacular scenery, the cottage is an excellent base for walking, cycling and is only a 15 minute drive away from historic Haworth, the home of the Brontes, and the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway.
