Heralding from a plumbing and construction background, owner and chief product designer David Mattock (Dave) always dreamt of creating attractive products from the tools of his trade. Thus Pipe Creative was conceived. Everything produced at Pipe Creative is made on site by hand using traditional methods and machinery. Because of this no two pieces are ever alike, and you can be assured that your purchase truly is one of a kind.

    Our philosophy is simple - Exceptional burgers, in a great location, for everyone! We have both vegetarian and vegan options on the menus, and all our burgers are available in a gluten free bun option. Well behaved dogs are welcome at Quercus. Yes we do have a 'Quercus To Go' option. You can order by ringing the shop number on 01422 842940 but please remember that everything is cooked from fresh, so at busy periods a bit of extra time will be needed.

    This cosy Victorian cottage, at the entrance to the Hardcastle Crags estate, has wooded valley views. Nestle in your own little patch of harmony in this quaint two-bedroom Victorian cottage, encompassed by its own garden. You’ll be at the pillared entrance to the Hardcastle Crags estate with its wooded valley unfolding before you. From here you’ll have a network of walking trails that pass tumbling waterfalls, rocky streams and otherworldly rock formations that rise from the dense woodlands. There’s also a former mill at its heart which is now a visitor centre. And if you have dogs, there’s no need to leave them behind as The Lodge can cater for two pups. I’m sure they’ll love a snuggle by the log-burner after a long day of walking. The superb50 mile walking route The Calderdale Way, which circles the borough, runs closely past the Lodge. From here, the market town of Hebden Bridge is only two miles away and the city of Halifax is just 10 miles to the east. You’re also about an hours’ drive from the Yorkshire Dales which is to the north. We are pet friendly - 2 dogs are welcome to stay at The Lodge. We have an Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Point: 1 x 7kW 32A Type 2 Mennekes, ZeroNet.

It’s run by Rachel and Juliet, and you’ll be sharing space with Juliet’s ceramics studio in the basement and see her pottery and prints in the house. The house is intended to be a peaceful, comfortable get away for groups, friends and family, and provide an inspirational space, or retreat for writers, crafts people, artists and academics. It’s a great spot for outdoors people looking for an active holiday – all types of cycling and walking are available, as well as nearby swimming pools or outdoor swimming, National Trust at Gibson Mill and climbing at Rokt in nearby Brighouse. The house can be booked for residential trainings, research meetings, craft sessions, and we welcome artists wanting to run their own residential courses, please come and have a cup of tea with us, and discuss your ideas!     Old Town Hall Cottage is a comfortably appointed early 17th Century cottage in the historic hamlet of Old Town which was mentioned in the Doomsday Book. The cottage is only one mile from the tourist township of Hebden Bridge. The cottage was built around 1610 and was originally part of Old Town Hall - the principal dwelling house in Old Town. The cottage has been recently renovated by the current owners, which has revealed many original features such as the original stone fireplace, mullion windows and lovely oak beams. The accommodation comprises: Entrance porch with original stonework, leading into: Lounge of generous proportions (16ft square), which is comfortably furnished and includes TV, DVD player, music system, including tape, CD and radio. A selection of books, CD's and DVD's are available within the cottage for guest use. The original stone fireplace now houses a wood burning stove (gas fuelled). There are also exposed stone mullion windows and original oak beams. The lounge is fully carpeted, has fully co-ordinated soft furnishings and is tastefully decorated. Dining kitchen - fully fitted with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. Ample cupboard and storage space, dining table and chairs with terracotta tiled floor. Feature open staircase leading from the lounge to a small landing area. Bathroom with three piece suite, shower over the bath, large airing cupboard, tiled floor, pleasant and secluded outlook over the surrounding countryside. Double bedroom - with double divan bed, dressing table and mirror ample fitted wardrobes and drawer space. Hairdryer also provided. Tastefully decorated with co-ordinated bedding and soft furnishings. Mullion window with countryside views, exposed stonework and original oak beam. Bedroom 2 - with adult bunk beds and chest of drawers. All services, linen and towels are included in the hire charge. Fresh fruit, flowers and a welcome pack provided (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, fruit juice and locally produced biscuits). High chair and travel cot available on request. Private parking for two cars alongside the cottage garden and small patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. The village of Old Town has two public houses selling traditional beers and providing home cooked pub food; both are within 0.5 miles of the cottage. Set in spectacular scenery, the cottage is an excellent base for walking, cycling and is only a 15 minute drive away from historic Haworth, the home of the Brontes, and the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway.

Now, after a careful restoration, it’s been converted into a two-bedroom rural retreat that oozes rustic charm. Inside you’ll find intriguing original features from its agricultural past.     Situated in the centre of the vibrant town of Hebden Bridge (overlooking Packhorse Bridge), a newly refurbished apartment is available for your stay. The apartment is accessed through a private door and staircase leading up to the first floor. Here you’ll find the living room, master bedroom, kitchen and main bathroom. A lovely hallway and staircase takes you to the mezzanine bedroom, twin bedroom (with adjoining balcony) and second bathroom. We are dog friendly, however we do ask they are kept out of the bedroom areas. You also have access to a private yard at the rear of the apartment to wash muddy boots and muddy paws before entering the apartment after your daily adventures! The apartment is situated on a pedestrian only street however loading/unloading is permitted before 10am and after 4pm
