    Lovegrows is a tea room and produce shop ran by husband and wife located in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. Enjoy our lovely calm and relaxing areas to sit and enjoy our quality food which is nicely presented. We have the tea room, a nice airy landing which could be used as a meeting room or somewhere if someone wanted to give a talk to a small group for a large area for family and friends to eat and drink. Our excellent outdoor space overlooks a lovely flower bed and blossom trees. We also have an elevated balcony with tables and chairs so you can enjoy the views of Hebden Bridge. We sell quality hand made, whole and organic good foods that are sourced or made with love.

    We’re back! Finally after months of hard work and refurbishment here is the long awaited news! We have our relaunch date, Greens will reopen on Saturday 7th May 10.30am-4.30pm. We are looking forward to seeing customers old and new and I am sure you will love our new look. Please put the date in your diary and come along to celebrate with us, we promise a glass of fizz & fun for everyone! Open Wed-Sun daytime offering home cooked vegetarian food, vegan options, hot lunch specials, cakes & desserts made fresh daily, coffees brewed from arabica beans, quality leaf teas, fresh juices & smoothies. Also evening dining every Friday & Saturday 6.30pm-late, bring your own wine, booking advisable for evenings.

    Old Gate is a great place to pop in for a coffee, have a few pints, stay for your tea or to treat someone to a special dinner in our restaurant. We hope you enjoy! The use of local and seasonal produce is a theme that runs through the Old Gate menu but we have also tried to incorporate it in the renovation of the building, using local suppliers and independent stores wherever possible, even down to the fabric for our curtains and upholstery. We are also proud to introduce and exhibit various artists from around the area; take time to look at our decorative artwork and also our Wordle (you can't miss it!) hand painted by a local sign writer, it will give you a great idea of the experience we hope you will have at Old Gate.

At Chapter 17 we embrace and respect a diverse range of dietary requirements, and feel that our menu reflects this. If however your struggling to find something, please do let us know. We feel strongly about utilising local resources and local people, but also fairness and equality when sourcing from further afield. We put a lot of time into sourcing our produce and look at the way it impacts others. We are dog friendly in our downstairs room.

It serves hot and cold drinks, light lunches, all day hot snacks, home-made sandwiches and cakes, and also newspapers and greeting cards. Service is warm, friendly and efficient, and prices are very reasonable – a cup of tea is only 90 pence, a filter coffee £1. The cafe is the first ever winner of a prestigious national award; from Railfuture – the national rail passenger organisation that campaigns for better and more trains and a bigger and better railway. Station cafe customers across Britain were invited to vote on Railfuture’s website for their favourite independent station cafe. “The Coffee Station” beat other popular cafes from across the country and received over 500 votes from customers, over three times as many as the second place cafe (in Portsmouth, Hampshire).
