These two, well appointed apartments are set in the glorious wooded valley of Hebden Dale bordering the National Trust property of Hardcastle Crags. Both apartments are completely self contained and each has a spacious double bedroom, contemporary shower room, fully-fitted kitchen with dining area and a comfortable sitting room. Studio Number 1 has a romantic Juliette balcony and Studio Number 2 has a large wooden deck ideal for al fresco eating, both have far reaching views. Britain's first National Trail, the Pennine Way, passes close by, while the Calderdale Way, a 50-mile (80 km) circular route around the Calder Valley, skirts the town. A growing network of bridleways makes excellent mountain-biking and horse-riding routes, including the Mary Towneley Loop, part of the Pennine Bridleway.

The cottage retains some of its original features, inside you will find a luxurious open-plan living room with exposed beams and underfloor heating and flagstone floors The sitting room boasts a charming woodburner set within the inglenook, and mullioned windows are filled with green landscape scenery from outside.     Over The Bridge is a detached, 18thC, Grade II Listed cottage situated in the heart of Ripponden's picturesque conservation village at the foot of an ancient Packhorse bridge. The cottage overlooks the River Ryburn and has its own fishing rights. Nearby is the 'oldest pub' in Yorkshire and also St Bartholomews Church. The 50-mile waalking route The Calderdale Way passes right by us, and there are other excellent walks to be enjoyed from the village, as well as many cycle routes. After a day's activity why not sample some of the numerous pubs and restaurants in the area. We are a short driving distance from many key tourist attractions including Hebden Bridge, The Bronte Country, (home place of the Bronte Sisters), Last of the Summer Wine Country, Esholt (the birthplace of Emmerdale Farm) and, for those of you who enjoy shopping and exciting nightlife, Leeds and Manchester are only a 20 minute drive away. Why not make a special occasion of your stay with us and order wine, champagne, chocolates or flowers to be provided in your room upon arrival or even reserve a table for a bar meal in the 'oldest pub' in Yorkshire 'The Bridge Inn' dating back to the 1300's. You’ll be at the pillared entrance to the Hardcastle Crags estate with its wooded valley unfolding before you. From here you’ll have a network of walking trails that pass tumbling waterfalls, rocky streams and otherworldly rock formations that rise from the dense woodlands. There’s also a former mill at its heart which is now a visitor centre. And if you have dogs, there’s no need to leave them behind as The Lodge can cater for two pups.     Situated in the centre of the vibrant town of Hebden Bridge (overlooking Packhorse Bridge), a newly refurbished apartment is available for your stay. The apartment is accessed through a private door and staircase leading up to the first floor. Here you’ll find the living room, master bedroom, kitchen and main bathroom. A lovely hallway and staircase takes you to the mezzanine bedroom, twin bedroom (with adjoining balcony) and second bathroom. We are dog friendly, however we do ask they are kept out of the bedroom areas. You also have access to a private yard at the rear of the apartment to wash muddy boots and muddy paws before entering the apartment after your daily adventures! The apartment is situated on a pedestrian only street however loading/unloading is permitted before 10am and after 4pm

    Old Town Hall Cottage is a comfortably appointed early 17th Century cottage in the historic hamlet of Old Town which was mentioned in the Doomsday Book. The cottage is only one mile from the tourist township of Hebden Bridge. The cottage was built around 1610 and was originally part of Old Town Hall - the principal dwelling house in Old Town. The cottage has been recently renovated by the current owners, which has revealed many original features such as the original stone fireplace, mullion windows and lovely oak beams. The accommodation comprises: Entrance porch with original stonework, leading into: Lounge of generous proportions (16ft square), which is comfortably furnished and includes TV, DVD player, music system, including tape, CD and radio. A selection of books, CD's and DVD's are available within the cottage for guest use. The original stone fireplace now houses a wood burning stove (gas fuelled). There are also exposed stone mullion windows and original oak beams. The lounge is fully carpeted, has fully co-ordinated soft furnishings and is tastefully decorated. Dining kitchen - fully fitted with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. Ample cupboard and storage space, dining table and chairs with terracotta tiled floor. Feature open staircase leading from the lounge to a small landing area. Bathroom with three piece suite, shower over the bath, large airing cupboard, tiled floor, pleasant and secluded outlook over the surrounding countryside. Double bedroom - with double divan bed, dressing table and mirror ample fitted wardrobes and drawer space. Hairdryer also provided. Tastefully decorated with co-ordinated bedding and soft furnishings. Mullion window with countryside views, exposed stonework and original oak beam. Bedroom 2 - with adult bunk beds and chest of drawers. All services, linen and towels are included in the hire charge. Fresh fruit, flowers and a welcome pack provided (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, fruit juice and locally produced biscuits). High chair and travel cot available on request. Private parking for two cars alongside the cottage garden and small patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. The village of Old Town has two public houses selling traditional beers and providing home cooked pub food; both are within 0.5 miles of the cottage. Set in spectacular scenery, the cottage is an excellent base for walking, cycling and is only a 15 minute drive away from historic Haworth, the home of the Brontes, and the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway.

    This luxury loft apartment, contained within a superbly converted 19th c mill stable, is an absolute delight. Situated in stunning Pennine valley near Hebden Bridge. Extremely well designed and equipped, sleeps 4 in comfort. Oats Royd Loft Apartment is part of a majestic Yorkshire stone barn that was once the stabling for Oats Royd Mill. It is fresh, light, airy, modern, stimulating and ingenious. There are some extraordinary touches: Japanese-style screens around the raised double bed, metal and perspex stairs leading to a cosy twin roof room, a highly efficient Scandinavian woodburner - high tech meets history in this wonderful transformation! Artists and designers, Hilly and Dan Fletcher have put heart and soul into the restoration of this fine building and have made it into an absolute treasure! The apartment sleeps 4 in comfort and there is a sofa bed or folding bed available for an extra guest. Hilly is a serious cook, so the kitchen is very well equipped with gas cooker/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster etc and anything else you may need can be borrowed.The dining table seats six, but if you don't want to cook, with a bit of advance notice delicious meals are normally available from Hilly. Packed lunches can also be arranged. The apartment has most modern conveniences, including WiFi, TV/DVD, CD/radio, iron and board, hairdryer etc. Outside is a lovely stoneflagged dining patio and sundeck (shared with owners and wildlife) which overlooks the old mill pond, where you can put your feet up, read a book or bring your fishing rod and catch your supper! We can come to local bus/train stations to collect you on your arrival, please ring us to make arrangements. Local buses stop right outside the mill next door. There is a wealth of good entertainment and dining in the area. It's worth checking out what's on in Halifax and Hebden Bridge before you arrive - theatres and music venues in Leeds and Manchester are also easily accessible for an evening out. There is a large Mill Pond in the garden which is full of fish, which guests are welcome to use. A laundry room is available to guests.
