    This luxury loft apartment, contained within a superbly converted 19th c mill stable, is an absolute delight. Situated in stunning Pennine valley near Hebden Bridge. Extremely well designed and equipped, sleeps 4 in comfort. Oats Royd Loft Apartment is part of a majestic Yorkshire stone barn that was once the stabling for Oats Royd Mill. It is fresh, light, airy, modern, stimulating and ingenious. There are some extraordinary touches: Japanese-style screens around the raised double bed, metal and perspex stairs leading to a cosy twin roof room, a highly efficient Scandinavian woodburner - high tech meets history in this wonderful transformation! Artists and designers, Hilly and Dan Fletcher have put heart and soul into the restoration of this fine building and have made it into an absolute treasure! The apartment sleeps 4 in comfort and there is a sofa bed or folding bed available for an extra guest. Hilly is a serious cook, so the kitchen is very well equipped with gas cooker/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster etc and anything else you may need can be borrowed.The dining table seats six, but if you don't want to cook, with a bit of advance notice delicious meals are normally available from Hilly. Packed lunches can also be arranged. The apartment has most modern conveniences, including WiFi, TV/DVD, CD/radio, iron and board, hairdryer etc. Outside is a lovely stoneflagged dining patio and sundeck (shared with owners and wildlife) which overlooks the old mill pond, where you can put your feet up, read a book or bring your fishing rod and catch your supper! We can come to local bus/train stations to collect you on your arrival, please ring us to make arrangements. Local buses stop right outside the mill next door. There is a wealth of good entertainment and dining in the area. It's worth checking out what's on in Halifax and Hebden Bridge before you arrive - theatres and music venues in Leeds and Manchester are also easily accessible for an evening out. There is a large Mill Pond in the garden which is full of fish, which guests are welcome to use. A laundry room is available to guests. Also included are those 'little extras' - hairdryer, washer/dryer, WiFi, satellite TV, flat screen television, a DVD player and more. All the apartments above the ground floor enjoy extensive views across Hebden Bridge and the surrounding countryside. The apartments have been furnished in a modern and contemporary style with oak wooden floors. Each apartment has parking for one car and all upper floors are accessed via the lift, or you can climb the exterior wooden stairs and use the covered walkways. There is a large separate roof garden/conservatory on the third floor which is available at an additional charge and is ideal for small family parties. The popular town of Hebden Bridge was recently voted best town in Britain for its mix of independent shops, buzzing cafes and bars alongside galleries, gift shops and organic food outlets. The area is steeped in fascinating industrial and social history, with the Rochdale and Calder and Hebble Navigation Canals and old mill towns such as Halifax, Sowerby Bridge, Todmorden, Mytholmroyd and Haworth nearby. With walking, cycling, touring or simply pottering about straight from the door, the apartments are an ideal base for exploring Yorkshire and Lancashire.     Jerusalem Farm is a simple, informal campsite suitable for backpackers and families, located in a beautiful, quiet, secluded area adjoining a local nature reserve, stream, woodland and moors.

    We are a quiet family site offering 30 pitches. Camping is on a flat grassy area adjacent to the Luddenden Brook and Wade Wood.

    We are situated on The Calderdale Way and are only 6 miles from The Pennine Way.

    We have an Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Point: 1 x  7kW 32A  Type 2 Mennekes, ZeroNet.

    Midge repellant is essential during the summer months.

    Charges:

    £8 per night for adults

    £5 per night for children under 15 (Under 5's free)

    £1 per dog (maximum 2 per party)

    £3 gazebo per night (maximum 1 per party) (£1 discount for Passport to Leisure holders)

Situated on The Calderdale Way and only 6 miles from The Pennine Way, within 13 hectares of beautiful countryside, Jerusalem Farm has fantastic facilities, enabling disabled children and young people to enjoy holidays with their families. Jerusalem Farm worked closely with the parents and carers of disabled children and young people, developng the converted barn to ensure that the facility can be easily used by all visitors. The welcoming atmosphere, stunning scenery and accessible overnight facilities ensure that it's a great place for a relaxing break. The three bedroom accommodation has an adjacent car park with a wheelchair friendly pathway to the barn. Inside, the barn has been designed so that disabled children, young people and their families have all the equipment they need. There's a spacious, specially adapted bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a hoist which can carry people from the bed to the bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen has also been tailored for wheelchair users, with work surfaces and cooking equipment lowered in height. The large terrace is the perfect place to sit and admire the outstandng countryside, spectacular valleys, woodland birds and sometimes even deer! The facilities include: A bedroom with bunkbeds (H165xL205xW104cm) A fullt adapted bedroom with two beds and a hoist into the adapted bathroom. A double bedroom. A fully equipped kitchen. Two bathrooms, including easy to use en-suite, accessible toilet and bathroom facilities. Underfloor heating Fully equipped living room with a television, DVD player and payphone. High quality furniture throughout. Jerusalem Barn is adjacent to a Local Nature Reserve and campsite. Halifax is 7 miles away, with Eureka! The National Children's Musuem, Shibden Estate, theatres, museums and art galleries. Sowerby Bridge is 5 miles away, with a leisure centre and swimming pool. Hebden Bridge is 4miles away, with a cinema, canal cruises, Visitor Information Centre and many independent shops and restaurants. Mytholmroyd Railway Station is 3 miles away.     Elland Hall Farm is a small, family- run caravan park, in a quiet and peaceful setting. The site has an open and sunny aspect and the pitches are lawned grass, within a beautifully landscaped surround. There is space for up to 10 touring vans, and tents are also welcome. Toilets and showers are available to all caravanners and campers (although unfortunately these are not wheelchair accessible). The site is kept secure by key card access. We do not allow pets of any type on site. We ask that you arrive between 1pm and 7pm and vacate your pitch before Noon on your day of departure.

The site is in approx 1000 acres of woodland with a small river at one side.The Calderdale Way also runs alongside our site - a lovely walk that cuts through the woods from Sowerby Bridge to Ripponden.     Hebden Bridge Camping is nestled in the quiet, picturesque village of Colden, above Hebden Bridge along The Pennine Way. A safe and peaceful area with many nature walks and stunning views . Conveniently placed adjacent to The New Delight Inn, a traditional country pub providing refreshment, local guest ales and dining. The camp site is located in a peaceful and idyllic area away from the chas of modern life. We are able to offer 14 tent pitches of varying sizes to accommodate larger as well as smaller groups. Campervans are welcome on site with 5 electric hook ups available for those that wish to use them. Children and pets are welcome on site and we provide toilet and shower facilities for all guests. Please ensure you keep clean after use for following guests. Free parking is available for guests with a restriction of two cars per party. We operate a strict noise restriction from 10pm onwards each evening. This is to respect local residents as well as children staying on site. Guests can check in any time around 12pm on first day of arrival but can checkout at any time. Children and pets must be under close supervision at all times. Want to go walking, cycling, mountain biking or horse riding in the area? You've come to the right place! We have lots of routes for all ages and abilities, from a quiet stroll along the canal towpath, to a bike ride that will test your endurance and provide a few white knuckle moments. The Pennines are wild and wonderful, a land of steep-sided valleys, heather-covered moorland, canals, reservoirs and packhorse trails. The people who live here describe it as 'spectacular', 'inspiring', 'breathtaking' and 'dramatic.' It's a place where you'll find intense local pride - people who are passionate about the area and want to share what they know. Cyclists and mountain bikers are spoiled for choice too: two national cycle routes come our way, whilst there's ample opportunity for off-road adventure on the Pennine moorland bridleways. Belle Vue Barn offers a fantastic opportunity to bring your own horse and enjoy some of the routes once trodden by packhorse trains, carrying cloth across the Pennine moors. The first long-distance trail designed for riders, the Pennine Bridleway National Trail is becoming one of the most well-known horse riding trails in the UK. Threading through the Pennine hills, it combines historic packhorse routes with specially created paths. The Pennine Bridleway and the Mary Townley Loop give the opportunity for long distance rides for the fitter horse and rider. We have three E.V. (Electric Vehicle) charge points installed at Belle Vue Barn; two Tesla vehicle charge points and one Universal. They are all 7KW points and classed as 'fast' charge points by Tesla. The chargers will charge all EVs, type 1 and type 2 and useage is free to customers renting Belle Vue Barn.
