    Two warm, comfortable stone cottages close to quiet rural village with good pubs and restaurants nearby. Two acres of south-facing woodland and heather garden with direct access to the open countryside and footpaths. Superb Pennine views. At Cherry Tree Cottages we have two warm, traditional, stone cottages, set in two acres of natural heather and woodland garden, with extensive views over the Black Brook valley and attractive South Pennines. Both our cottages have direct access to open countryside and footpaths. We are in a country location within 15 minutes of either Halifax or Huddersfield town centres, and are ideally situated for exploring Bronte Country and historic West Yorkshire. The major tourist attractions of Leeds, Manchester and York are within easy travelling distance. The cottages are fully equipped and furnished to four stars standard and are connected to a wireless broadband network for free internet and email access. Central heating and linen are included, and there are no extras of any kind. Laundry and drying facilities are provided in the cottage. You may also check availability at any time by visiting our website www.yorkshire-cottages.co.uk Pets and children are welcome. Pets are welcome at no extra charge. We have an extensive garden area with good dog walking direct from the doorstep.     Mount Skip stands alone in an isolated rural location at an altitude of 300m (1000 feet) on a hillside overlooking the Calder Valley. It is approximately one mile to the east of Hebden Bridge town centre and stands within the Green Belt and a Special Landscape Area. We have three rooms - an en-suite family room, en-suite double room and a twin room with a private bathroom. All our rooms are tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. Each room and bathroom has those little added extras - a hospitality tray, a hairdryer and shaving adaptor plug. Even shampoo and shower gel in case you have forgotten yours. Breakfast is an enjoyable experience with a good choice of continental style breakfast which includes freshly made coffee, tea, home-made bread and preserves. For those who prefer there is also a cooked English breakfast where if you wish you can enjoy our local butcher's bacon, sausages and free range eggs. Why not have both? For extra relaxation we have a private guest lounge which has stunning panoramic views. Prices include a full English and /or Continental breakfast and use of the guest lounge with complimentary tea, coffee and sodas. Discounts can be arranged for longer staying guests. This can be discussed at the point of booking or on arrival.

Packhorse Stables boasts outstanding views across the unspoilt Colden Valley, yet is only a 30 minute woodland walk to the historic market town of Hebden Bridge which offers an eclectic selection of amenities. The front stable-door opens into a large open plan living/dining area. The living area comprises one sofa (can be converted to a bed), comfy chair, wood burning stove, underfloor heating, wall-mounted flat screen TV with free-view and DVD player. The Dining area has a wooden table, bookcase with a wide range of books and tourist information, stereo CD and ipod docking station. Local craftsmen have been used to supply the furnishings and fittings where possible and most is available to buy in Hebden Bridge. Fully- fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washer/drier, microwave, large fridge/freezer, slow cooker, extensive cookware and crockery. Two large windows, one offering beautiful views of the garden and the second overlooking the front patio. Wet-room to the rear of the property with heated towel rail, luxury walk in shower and underfloor heating. Large centrally heated bedroom with fitted carpet, quality wooden furniture, super-kingsize bed and several windows with far reaching views of the valley and gardens. Moving to the outside of the cottage there is a south-facing patio at the front with table and chairs, ideal for al-fresco dining. To the rear there is another large patio which has the hot-tub – perfect for gazing at the stars at night or taking in the sights of the valley during the day. Wood-store and BBQ where bikes can also be kept under cover. Large garden with pond and additional seating area, which can be illuminated at night. Wild pheasants love to be fed here and we have two resident Little owls and woodpeckers. Parking for 2 cars on a private drive, access to both front and back doors can be reached avoiding steps. Bedlinen, towels, gas, electricity and starter pack for woodburner all included in the price.     Old Town Hall Cottage is a comfortably appointed early 17th Century cottage in the historic hamlet of Old Town which was mentioned in the Doomsday Book. The cottage is only one mile from the tourist township of Hebden Bridge. The cottage was built around 1610 and was originally part of Old Town Hall - the principal dwelling house in Old Town. The cottage has been recently renovated by the current owners, which has revealed many original features such as the original stone fireplace, mullion windows and lovely oak beams. The accommodation comprises: Entrance porch with original stonework, leading into: Lounge of generous proportions (16ft square), which is comfortably furnished and includes TV, DVD player, music system, including tape, CD and radio. A selection of books, CD's and DVD's are available within the cottage for guest use. The original stone fireplace now houses a wood burning stove (gas fuelled). There are also exposed stone mullion windows and original oak beams. The lounge is fully carpeted, has fully co-ordinated soft furnishings and is tastefully decorated. Dining kitchen - fully fitted with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. Ample cupboard and storage space, dining table and chairs with terracotta tiled floor.
