    Known locally as the Lane Ends, the inn has been serving fine ales for over 150 years. We offer stunning views, open fires, Timothy Taylor Ales and great value home made meals. We serve home cooked food everyday of the week; our aim is to serve good pub grub at a price that you like. This is just a sample of our dishes that we have to offer, our menu changes regularly, and we always cater for vegetarians and vegans. The Inn sits 900 feet above sea level on the edge of The Calderdale Way, a 50 mile walking route which circles the borough, offering panoramic views.

    The Caldervale line runs through the area with train stations at Halifax, Brighouse, Sowerby Bridge, Mytholmroyd, Hebden Bridge, Walsden and Todmorden. Trains run from Blackpool North to York via Hebden Bridge and Halifax and from Leeds via Bradford to Manchester Victoria via all stations. It is also possible to travel to Leeds via Dewsbury from Mytholmroyd and Sowerby Bridge. A direct service operated by Grand Central runs from London to Halifax and Brighouse three times a day.

    Centre Vale Park has been awarded the coveted Green Flag status and the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Fields status. and is located a short walk (approx 600 metres) from Todmorden town centre along the A646 Burnley Road. The route of The Calderdale Way, a 50 mile walking route which circles the borough, passes by less than a hundred metres from the park. The park and is home to 'The Lucky Dog' of Todmorden, as made famous in Derren Brown's TV show 'The Experiments' and offers visitors the chance to relax in a green, open space and to enjoy the all weather 5 -a-side football pitches, bowling greens, play area, skate park, cycle way, football pitches and The Conservatory and Animal House; which is open seven days a week between 10am - 4pm (closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day). Centre Vale Park consists of 33 hectares of mature oak and beech woodland intersected by woodland walks and open parkland. The main body of the park landscape also includes formal memorial gardens. It is ideal for walking, sports and formal recreation, picnics and family outings. The public toilets are to the East of the park. The channelled River Calder runs along the North-eastern boundary of the park, adjacent to Burnley Road. It is a double room with hanging and draw space.There is free wifi, a shared bathroom,the use of our kitchen and the tv plays dvds and is an ipod dock. We provide the bed linen and towels. Breakfast is included, you can help yourself to toast, cereal,fruit, yogurt,fruit juice,tea and coffee. You are welcome to cook your own breakfast if you prefer.     Mount Skip stands alone in an isolated rural location at an altitude of 300m (1000 feet) on a hillside overlooking the Calder Valley. It is approximately one mile to the east of Hebden Bridge town centre and stands within the Green Belt and a Special Landscape Area. We have three rooms - an en-suite family room, en-suite double room and a twin room with a private bathroom. All our rooms are tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. Each room and bathroom has those little added extras - a hospitality tray, a hairdryer and shaving adaptor plug. Even shampoo and shower gel in case you have forgotten yours. Breakfast is an enjoyable experience with a good choice of continental style breakfast which includes freshly made coffee, tea, home-made bread and preserves. For those who prefer there is also a cooked English breakfast where if you wish you can enjoy our local butcher's bacon, sausages and free range eggs. Why not have both? For extra relaxation we have a private guest lounge which has stunning panoramic views. Prices include a full English and /or Continental breakfast and use of the guest lounge with complimentary tea, coffee and sodas. Discounts can be arranged for longer staying guests.
