The perfect location for walking or cycling on the moors and surrounding area, and we are approximately one mile from the centre of Hebden Bridge. The Cottage has an open plan living and dinning area, which includes a wood burning stove. A beautiful cast iron spiral staircase leads off the living area to the mezzanine, which houses the bathroom and sleeping area, with a comfortable double bed. Well behaved dogs are welcome, we just ask that you us know that you are bringing a doggy friend when you book. -

Packhorse Stables boasts outstanding views across the unspoilt Colden Valley, yet is only a 30 minute woodland walk to the historic market town of Hebden Bridge which offers an eclectic selection of amenities. The front stable-door opens into a large open plan living/dining area. The living area comprises one sofa (can be converted to a bed), comfy chair, wood burning stove, underfloor heating, wall-mounted flat screen TV with free-view and DVD player. The Dining area has a wooden table, bookcase with a wide range of books and tourist information, stereo CD and ipod docking station. Local craftsmen have been used to supply the furnishings and fittings where possible and most is available to buy in Hebden Bridge. Fully- fitted kitchen including dishwasher, washer/drier, microwave, large fridge/freezer, slow cooker, extensive cookware and crockery. Two large windows, one offering beautiful views of the garden and the second overlooking the front patio. Wet-room to the rear of the property with heated towel rail, luxury walk in shower and underfloor heating. Large centrally heated bedroom with fitted carpet, quality wooden furniture, super-kingsize bed and several windows with far reaching views of the valley and gardens. Moving to the outside of the cottage there is a south-facing patio at the front with table and chairs, ideal for al-fresco dining. To the rear there is another large patio which has the hot-tub – perfect for gazing at the stars at night or taking in the sights of the valley during the day. Wood-store and BBQ where bikes can also be kept under cover. Large garden with pond and additional seating area, which can be illuminated at night. Wild pheasants love to be fed here and we have two resident Little owls and woodpeckers. Parking for 2 cars on a private drive, access to both front and back doors can be reached avoiding steps. Bedlinen, towels, gas, electricity and starter pack for woodburner all included in the price. We can offer champagne/evening platters/chocolates on arrival….perfect for anniversaries/birthdays and we are very popular for honeymoon couples….please ask when booking -
