The Lodge @ Birkby Hall is the result of a renovation project of an original 18th century stone-built workshop in the grounds of Birkby Hall. It is ideally located for Brighouse (1 mile), Halifax (4 miles), Bradford (5 miles) and Huddersfield (6 miles). Both junction 25 and 26 of the M62 can be reached in 8 minutes.     This luxury loft apartment, contained within a superbly converted 19th c mill stable, is an absolute delight. Situated in stunning Pennine valley near Hebden Bridge. Extremely well designed and equipped, sleeps 4 in comfort. Oats Royd Loft Apartment is part of a majestic Yorkshire stone barn that was once the stabling for Oats Royd Mill. It is fresh, light, airy, modern, stimulating and ingenious. There are some extraordinary touches: Japanese-style screens around the raised double bed, metal and perspex stairs leading to a cosy twin roof room, a highly efficient Scandinavian woodburner - high tech meets history in this wonderful transformation! Artists and designers, Hilly and Dan Fletcher have put heart and soul into the restoration of this fine building and have made it into an absolute treasure! The apartment sleeps 4 in comfort and there is a sofa bed or folding bed available for an extra guest. Hilly is a serious cook, so the kitchen is very well equipped with gas cooker/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster etc and anything else you may need can be borrowed.The dining table seats six, but if you don't want to cook, with a bit of advance notice delicious meals are normally available from Hilly. Packed lunches can also be arranged. The apartment has most modern conveniences, including WiFi, TV/DVD, CD/radio, iron and board, hairdryer etc. Outside is a lovely stoneflagged dining patio and sundeck (shared with owners and wildlife) which overlooks the old mill pond, where you can put your feet up, read a book or bring your fishing rod and catch your supper! We can come to local bus/train stations to collect you on your arrival, please ring us to make arrangements. Local buses stop right outside the mill next door. There is a wealth of good entertainment and dining in the area. It's worth checking out what's on in Halifax and Hebden Bridge before you arrive - theatres and music venues in Leeds and Manchester are also easily accessible for an evening out. There is a large Mill Pond in the garden which is full of fish, which guests are welcome to use. A laundry room is available to guests. Located on the ground floor and completely self contained, Zion Chapel is modern apartment in a beautifully restored chapel. The open plan living/dining area has French windows and a juliette balcony making the most of the stunning views over Hebden Bridge. There is a fully equipped modern kitchen leading into the open plan dining area. Sleeping 4 with one double bedroom having an ensuite shower room, twin bedroom and further main bathroom. The apartment has a large drying cupboard ideal after a day out on the moors enjoying our fabulous scenery. To make your stay as relaxed as possible you will find plenty of fluffy towels, tea and coffee, and fresh milk in the fridge. The apartment is close to all the local amenities you could need, but tucked away just enough for your own privacy. Located in the centre of Halifax, the accommodation comfortably sleeps a group of four guests. As you enter the lounge you are greeted by soft furnishings, neutral décor and a gorgeous wall mounted electric fire that makes for an inviting feature piece in the middle of the room. With complementary Wi-Fi, a large flat screen television and DVD library, you and your guests can settle into the cosy environment for an evening of entertainment. The two single sofa beds can be pulled out when visitors are ready for a restful night’s sleep. The kitchen comprises matching cream appliances including oven, hob, fridge freezer and microwave. The spacious area is fully equipped with all the kitchenware and utensils you need to cook your own choice of delicious meals, providing a real home from home experience. Right on the Pennine Way and close to Hebden Bridge and Todmorden, this is the ideal destination for a lovely break away with your family or friends. This characterful holiday home is nestled within the owner's grounds, with horses grazing in the fields and gentle lakes you can walk around, before spending your down time within the cosy sitting room. You can sink into the sofa on a cool wintry evening and get toasty and warm by the fire as you catch up on your favourite TV shows. Use the kitchen next door to rustle up a home-cooked meal and get together around the dining table to discuss plans for the following day. Later, choose from a super king-size bedroom upstairs, which has zip/link beds for flexibility, or catch your rest in the single room. They are each served by the well-appointed shower room and boast remarkable views of rolling hills and vales.
