We have 8 beers on draft or tap, 100+ spirits including around 40+ gins, quality Halifax Wine Co wine, tea and coffee. Tuesday is our events night with music, our Grayston Voices night of guest speakers and the occasional bit of theatre in the back room too. Our lazy Sunday's include free tea and coffee, ale of the day £2.50 pint, selected wine £10 a bottle, free papers (till 5pm). Family friendly till 7pm. Friendly, warm and not shouty. That’s us. There’s also a former mill at its heart which is now a visitor centre. And if you have dogs, there’s no need to leave them behind as The Lodge can cater for two pups. I’m sure they’ll love a snuggle by the log-burner after a long day of walking. The superb50 mile walking route The Calderdale Way, which circles the borough, runs closely past the Lodge. From here, the market town of Hebden Bridge is only two miles away and the city of Halifax is just 10 miles to the east. You’re also about an hours’ drive from the Yorkshire Dales which is to the north. We are pet friendly - 2 dogs are welcome to stay at The Lodge. Jams and chutneys made from locally sourced fruits or delicious pork pies from a local pig farmer to a delicious chocolate fountain. In case you feel hungry during your visit we have a wide variety of street food offering shoppers food that is not only healthy, but environmentally friendly.
