    This splendid Grade II* listed Victorian market hall was voted the best in Britain in 2008. Come and enjoy the hustle, bustle and traditional splendour of a thriving retail market with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The impressive and historic Halifax Borough Market was built between 1891 and 1896 and was officially opened by the Duke and Duchess of York (later King George V and Queen Mary). As a first time visitor to this award-winning market, you could be forgiven for thinking that you had stumbled on to the set of a period TV drama. Decor and atmosphere combine to create a shopping experience that just can't be matched by mundane and soulless out-of-town supermarkets. Alongside the outstanding traditional family butchers and fruit and vegetable stalls which have passed down through generations, are the new stall holders tempting our taste buds with a bounty of exotic produce from the continent. Nor will the markets's fishmongers disappoint. You can treat your inner child with toffees, fudge, boiled sweets, cakes and brandy snaps. Sandwiches, pies, olives and chorizo can be found alongside haberdashers, vibrant flower shops, perfumers, leather goods, books, underwear, CDs, DVDs, hardware, fancy dress and more! With several cafes and coffee shops where you can stop for cuppa and a butty (go on, have cake too) you can easily refuel to carry on shopping. From the exotic to the native, extravagant to inexpensive, the quality of produce on offer remains unsurpassed.     Hebden Bridge Camping is nestled in the quiet, picturesque village of Colden, above Hebden Bridge along The Pennine Way. A safe and peaceful area with many nature walks and stunning views . Conveniently placed adjacent to The New Delight Inn, a traditional country pub providing refreshment, local guest ales and dining. The camp site is located in a peaceful and idyllic area away from the chas of modern life. We are able to offer 14 tent pitches of varying sizes to accommodate larger as well as smaller groups. Campervans are welcome on site with 5 electric hook ups available for those that wish to use them. Children and pets are welcome on site and we provide toilet and shower facilities for all guests. Please ensure you keep clean after use for following guests. Free parking is available for guests with a restriction of two cars per party. We operate a strict noise restriction from 10pm onwards each evening. This is to respect local residents as well as children staying on site. Guests can check in any time around 12pm on first day of arrival but can checkout at any time. Children and pets must be under close supervision at all times. Hebden Bridge Camping will not be held responsible for any incidents incurred during visits. Please note Hebden Bridge Camping does not provide the following: Laundry facilities Kitchen facilities Disabled facilities Gas hook up

    Where can you camp with an Overland Camper? It is probably easier to ask where you can’t camp. Overland Campers are designed to be easy to drive and park while offering a luxurious and different holiday experience. Our current fleet includes 2 Landrover Pulse Ambulances (Amber and Lance) and a Defender 110 (Fergal). In addition to all the usual camper contents, our campervans also feature elevating roofs and the bodies of the vehicles can be made up into beds. The campers are fully insulated and sound proofed to keep you cosy. We are located close to Halifax in West Yorkshire with easy access to the M1 and M62 motorway networks, Leeds Bradford Airport and Manchester Airport. Interested in hiring one of our campers?     Jerusalem Farm is a simple, informal campsite suitable for backpackers and families, located in a beautiful, quiet, secluded area adjoining a local nature reserve, stream, woodland and moors.

    We are a quiet family site offering 30 pitches. Camping is on a flat grassy area adjacent to the Luddenden Brook and Wade Wood.

    We are situated on The Calderdale Way and are only 6 miles from The Pennine Way.

    We have an Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Point: 1 x  7kW 32A  Type 2 Mennekes, ZeroNet.

    Midge repellant is essential during the summer months.

    Charges:

    £8 per night for adults

    £5 per night for children under 15 (Under 5's free)

    £1 per dog (maximum 2 per party)

    £3 gazebo per night (maximum 1 per party) (£1 discount for Passport to Leisure holders)

    Elland Hall Farm is a small, family- run caravan park, in a quiet and peaceful setting. The site has an open and sunny aspect and the pitches are lawned grass, within a beautifully landscaped surround. There is space for up to 10 touring vans, and tents are also welcome. Toilets and showers are available to all caravanners and campers (although unfortunately these are not wheelchair accessible). The site is kept secure by key card access. We do not allow pets of any type on site. We ask that you arrive between 1pm and 7pm and vacate your pitch before Noon on your day of departure.
