Oozing genuine 'olde worlde' charm and appeal, this is probably the oldest Inn in Halifax and it offers three en-suite bed & breakfast rooms. Shears Inn Paris Gates is somewhere you would love to visit, firstly the challenge of finding it, the first thrill, spotting it at the bottom of the cobbled road just after passing a large mill chimney, You would never expect to find an Inn in this unique location, The Shears Inn offers three en-suite rooms, two with King-sized beds and one with a Super-King. All of the bedrooms have their own en-suite bathroom, 32" flat screen TV and free WI-FI. All rooms refurbished to a high standard. Easy access to Rochdale Canal, National Rail Network (Mytholmroyd – 2 miles) and M62 motorway. Nearest bus stop 100 yards. National cycling (Route 66) runs through Luddendenfoot.     1885 have converted the upper floor of our pub building into spacious guest rooms, able to accommodate a range of needs; be it a cosy bed & breakfast, a sumptuous bridal suite, or even a large room for board meetings or cocktail parties. We are very mindful of guests’ privacy, and so have created an entirely separate part of the building, accessible only to those staying with us. Guests have their own key for a separate external door, and so can enjoy the complete exclusivity of the rooms. The décor continues the look and feel of the Pub into the rooms; rustic oak furniture, complemented tastefully by a light modern colour scheme. All rooms are spacious, with large windows adding to the airy, open feel. Dining with us in the restaurant and don’t fancy the drive home? You can always book a room for the night! We have no minimum stay rule. Or if you are looking for a weekend away in the beautiful Calder valley, our en-suite bedrooms may be just what you need. A complimentary Continental Breakfast is provided in the rooms and is included in the room rate. The largest of our rooms can be easily transformed into a private bar, dining room, or meeting room. Why not have your own private room for pre-dinner cocktails with friends, before enjoying a meal in our pub or restaurant?
