    Mount Skip stands alone in an isolated rural location at an altitude of 300m (1000 feet) on a hillside overlooking the Calder Valley. It is approximately one mile to the east of Hebden Bridge town centre and stands within the Green Belt and a Special Landscape Area. We have three rooms - an en-suite family room, en-suite double room and a twin room with a private bathroom. All our rooms are tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. Each room and bathroom has those little added extras - a hospitality tray, a hairdryer and shaving adaptor plug. Even shampoo and shower gel in case you have forgotten yours. Breakfast is an enjoyable experience with a good choice of continental style breakfast which includes freshly made coffee, tea, home-made bread and preserves. For those who prefer there is also a cooked English breakfast where if you wish you can enjoy our local butcher's bacon, sausages and free range eggs. Why not have both? For extra relaxation we have a private guest lounge which has stunning panoramic views. Prices include a full English and /or Continental breakfast and use of the guest lounge with complimentary tea, coffee and sodas. Discounts can be arranged for longer staying guests. This can be discussed at the point of booking or on arrival.

Now, after a careful restoration, it’s been converted into a two-bedroom rural retreat that oozes rustic charm. Inside you’ll find intriguing original features from its agricultural past. Timber cow stalls form the kitchen area and original high stone walls are met by the timber frame ceiling. We are linked to both the Pennine Way and Calderdale Way walking routes, as well as many interesting and local walks in Cragg Vale and the unique town of Hebden Bridge. We offer superior, self contained B&B accommodation for walkers and lovers of the great outdoors. We are a little bit different in our location. Bring your wellies, stroll along enjoying the views and arrive to a homely, warm welcome. Our three bedrooms are a haven for walkers. The daytime exhibition space doubles as a space for guests to enjoy a meal, rest their weary limbs, and enjoy some time to plan the following day’s activity. All our guests are invited to make themselves at home and have the option to cook for themselves or be served a home cooked meal of their choice. The highest standards of comfort are available at affordable and competitive prices. We want you to come to us with as little ‘baggage’ as possible.     This luxury loft apartment, contained within a superbly converted 19th c mill stable, is an absolute delight. Situated in stunning Pennine valley near Hebden Bridge. Extremely well designed and equipped, sleeps 4 in comfort. Oats Royd Loft Apartment is part of a majestic Yorkshire stone barn that was once the stabling for Oats Royd Mill. It is fresh, light, airy, modern, stimulating and ingenious. There are some extraordinary touches: Japanese-style screens around the raised double bed, metal and perspex stairs leading to a cosy twin roof room, a highly efficient Scandinavian woodburner - high tech meets history in this wonderful transformation! Artists and designers, Hilly and Dan Fletcher have put heart and soul into the restoration of this fine building and have made it into an absolute treasure! The apartment sleeps 4 in comfort and there is a sofa bed or folding bed available for an extra guest. Hilly is a serious cook, so the kitchen is very well equipped with gas cooker/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster etc and anything else you may need can be borrowed.The dining table seats six, but if you don't want to cook, with a bit of advance notice delicious meals are normally available from Hilly. Packed lunches can also be arranged. The apartment has most modern conveniences, including WiFi, TV/DVD, CD/radio, iron and board, hairdryer etc. Outside is a lovely stoneflagged dining patio and sundeck (shared with owners and wildlife) which overlooks the old mill pond, where you can put your feet up, read a book or bring your fishing rod and catch your supper! We can come to local bus/train stations to collect you on your arrival, please ring us to make arrangements. Local buses stop right outside the mill next door. There is a wealth of good entertainment and dining in the area. It's worth checking out what's on in Halifax and Hebden Bridge before you arrive - theatres and music venues in Leeds and Manchester are also easily accessible for an evening out. There is a large Mill Pond in the garden which is full of fish, which guests are welcome to use. A laundry room is available to guests. Britain's first National Trail, the Pennine Way, passes close by, while the Calderdale Way, a 50-mile (80 km) circular route around the Calder Valley, skirts the town. A growing network of bridleways makes excellent mountain-biking and horse-riding routes, including the Mary Towneley Loop, part of the Pennine Bridleway.

It is a double room with hanging and draw space.There is free wifi, a shared bathroom,the use of our kitchen and the tv plays dvds and is an ipod dock. We provide the bed linen and towels. Breakfast is included, you can help yourself to toast, cereal,fruit, yogurt,fruit juice,tea and coffee. You are welcome to cook your own breakfast if you prefer. We are 2 mins walk from Hebden Bridge town centre Bed and Breakfast is £50 per night for 2 people, one person is £30.
