2pm Anne Lister determined this would be a serious union, with Ann Walker moving into Shibden. Coal-mining and ‘Blue’ political door-stepping continued. Walk leader: Jill Liddington. 2-hour circular afternoon walk with short readings from Female Fortune, and ends with tea, cake and Q&A in Halifax. There are some steep steps, walking boots or shoes are advised. Meet at 2pm in the Piece Hall by the Book Corner.
