    Beautiful holiday apartments in the heart of the Pennines. Every one of our stylish apartments comes with a fully-fitted kitchen, complete with all cutlery and crockery. Also included are those 'little extras' - hairdryer, washer/dryer, WiFi, satellite TV, flat screen television, a DVD player and more. All the apartments above the ground floor enjoy extensive views across Hebden Bridge and the surrounding countryside. The apartments have been furnished in a modern and contemporary style with oak wooden floors. Each apartment has parking for one car and all upper floors are accessed via the lift, or you can climb the exterior wooden stairs and use the covered walkways. There is a large separate roof garden/conservatory on the third floor which is available at an additional charge and is ideal for small family parties. The popular town of Hebden Bridge was recently voted best town in Britain for its mix of independent shops, buzzing cafes and bars alongside galleries, gift shops and organic food outlets. The area is steeped in fascinating industrial and social history, with the Rochdale and Calder and Hebble Navigation Canals and old mill towns such as Halifax, Sowerby Bridge, Todmorden, Mytholmroyd and Haworth nearby. With walking, cycling, touring or simply pottering about straight from the door, the apartments are an ideal base for exploring Yorkshire and Lancashire. NB Your apartment will be allocated on arrival and may be on the ground, first or second floor. Apartments on the ground floor are accessed via three steps. We have an Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Point.

    Clay House is a Jacobean building, a fine example of seventeenth century vernacular architecture, located within a beautiful rural park in the village of West Vale, less than a mile form Elland and less than three miles from Halifax. Clay House is the official start (and end) point for The Calderdale Way, a 50-mile walking route that circles the borough of Calderdale. The start of The Calderdale Way is signposted at the rear of the House, with signage, flower beds and a picnic area. The Main hall (7.3m x 10.5m) is a beautiful room with wood panelling, a minstrel gallery, polished wood floor, large stone fireplace and stone mullioned windows. It is licensed for civil ceremonies and can set up to 70 people for a formal meal, or 100 people theatre style for meetings, training sessions or presentations. Terraces and gardens in front and to the side of the House make great backgrounds for photographs and places to enjoy the views across the Park. Access Information: A portable ramp is provided to the front entrance or there is level access to the side; Two small internal ramps enable access to all public areas; A disabled toilet is available The Main Hall is fitted with an Induction Loop.

    This cosy Victorian cottage, at the entrance to the Hardcastle Crags estate, has wooded valley views. Nestle in your own little patch of harmony in this quaint two-bedroom Victorian cottage, encompassed by its own garden. You’ll be at the pillared entrance to the Hardcastle Crags estate with its wooded valley unfolding before you. From here you’ll have a network of walking trails that pass tumbling waterfalls, rocky streams and otherworldly rock formations that rise from the dense woodlands. There’s also a former mill at its heart which is now a visitor centre. And if you have dogs, there’s no need to leave them behind as The Lodge can cater for two pups. I’m sure they’ll love a snuggle by the log-burner after a long day of walking. The superb50 mile walking route The Calderdale Way, which circles the borough, runs closely past the Lodge. From here, the market town of Hebden Bridge is only two miles away and the city of Halifax is just 10 miles to the east. You’re also about an hours’ drive from the Yorkshire Dales which is to the north. We are pet friendly - 2 dogs are welcome to stay at The Lodge. The Pennine hills and valleys around Hebden Bridge have long been popular with visitors. Walking and cycling are popular activities, whether just strolling along a riverside path, or following the stone causeways ("causeys") that mark old packhorse routes. Britain's first National Trail, the Pennine Way, passes close by, while the Calderdale Way, a 50-mile (80 km) circular route around the Calder Valley, skirts the town. A growing network of bridleways makes excellent mountain-biking and horse-riding routes, including the Mary Towneley Loop, part of the Pennine Bridleway.

    Situated in the centre of the vibrant town of Hebden Bridge (overlooking Packhorse Bridge), a newly refurbished apartment is available for your stay. The apartment is accessed through a private door and staircase leading up to the first floor. Here you’ll find the living room, master bedroom, kitchen and main bathroom. A lovely hallway and staircase takes you to the mezzanine bedroom, twin bedroom (with adjoining balcony) and second bathroom. We are dog friendly, however we do ask they are kept out of the bedroom areas. You also have access to a private yard at the rear of the apartment to wash muddy boots and muddy paws before entering the apartment after your daily adventures! The apartment is situated on a pedestrian only street however loading/unloading is permitted before 10am and after 4pm

The main accommodation comprises exclusive use of the attic floor of the house; a double bedroom with king sized bed and its own bathroom. There is wireless broadband access, a fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, TV, hairdryer etc in the room. There is parking space in front of the house. A second spacious double bedroom is also available on occasions (king sized bed but not en-suite).
