    Hebden Bridge Holiday Cottages offer two fabulous self catering cottages for you to enjoy a happy holiday or fun filled relaxing short break. Original features include stone mullion windows, stone window sills and large wooden beams in both cottages. We have kept these original features but have brought both cottages into the 21st century with free wireless broadband connectivity, Smart TVs - 32in flat-screens with Freeview, USB port and blue tooth sound bar. For your health and pleasure we have installed a Far Infra Red Sauna in White Rose Cottage and a Hot Tub at Red Rose Cottage. The Calderdale Way passes right by our cottages, making them a great base from which to explore this 50 mile walking route. We have an Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Point: 1 x 7kW 32A Type 2 Mennekes, ZeroNet.

    Old Town Hall Cottage is a comfortably appointed early 17th Century cottage in the historic hamlet of Old Town which was mentioned in the Doomsday Book. The cottage is only one mile from the tourist township of Hebden Bridge. The cottage was built around 1610 and was originally part of Old Town Hall - the principal dwelling house in Old Town. The cottage has been recently renovated by the current owners, which has revealed many original features such as the original stone fireplace, mullion windows and lovely oak beams. The accommodation comprises: Entrance porch with original stonework, leading into: Lounge of generous proportions (16ft square), which is comfortably furnished and includes TV, DVD player, music system, including tape, CD and radio. A selection of books, CD's and DVD's are available within the cottage for guest use. The original stone fireplace now houses a wood burning stove (gas fuelled). There are also exposed stone mullion windows and original oak beams. The lounge is fully carpeted, has fully co-ordinated soft furnishings and is tastefully decorated. Dining kitchen - fully fitted with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. Ample cupboard and storage space, dining table and chairs with terracotta tiled floor. Feature open staircase leading from the lounge to a small landing area. Bathroom with three piece suite, shower over the bath, large airing cupboard, tiled floor, pleasant and secluded outlook over the surrounding countryside. Double bedroom - with double divan bed, dressing table and mirror ample fitted wardrobes and drawer space. Hairdryer also provided. Tastefully decorated with co-ordinated bedding and soft furnishings. Mullion window with countryside views, exposed stonework and original oak beam. Bedroom 2 - with adult bunk beds and chest of drawers. All services, linen and towels are included in the hire charge. Fresh fruit, flowers and a welcome pack provided (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, fruit juice and locally produced biscuits). High chair and travel cot available on request. Private parking for two cars alongside the cottage garden and small patio area with garden furniture and BBQ. The village of Old Town has two public houses selling traditional beers and providing home cooked pub food; both are within 0.5 miles of the cottage. Set in spectacular scenery, the cottage is an excellent base for walking, cycling and is only a 15 minute drive away from historic Haworth, the home of the Brontes, and the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway.

Now, after a careful restoration, it’s been converted into a two-bedroom rural retreat that oozes rustic charm. Inside you’ll find intriguing original features from its agricultural past. Timber cow stalls form the kitchen area and original high stone walls are met by the timber frame ceiling. We have lots of routes for all ages and abilities, from a quiet stroll along the canal towpath, to a bike ride that will test your endurance and provide a few white knuckle moments. The Pennines are wild and wonderful, a land of steep-sided valleys, heather-covered moorland, canals, reservoirs and packhorse trails. The people who live here describe it as 'spectacular', 'inspiring', 'breathtaking' and 'dramatic.' It's a place where you'll find intense local pride - people who are passionate about the area and want to share what they know. Cyclists and mountain bikers are spoiled for choice too: two national cycle routes come our way, whilst there's ample opportunity for off-road adventure on the Pennine moorland bridleways. Belle Vue Barn offers a fantastic opportunity to bring your own horse and enjoy some of the routes once trodden by packhorse trains, carrying cloth across the Pennine moors. The first long-distance trail designed for riders, the Pennine Bridleway National Trail is becoming one of the most well-known horse riding trails in the UK. Threading through the Pennine hills, it combines historic packhorse routes with specially created paths. The Pennine Bridleway and the Mary Townley Loop give the opportunity for long distance rides for the fitter horse and rider. We have three E.V. (Electric Vehicle) charge points installed at Belle Vue Barn; two Tesla vehicle charge points and one Universal. They are all 7KW points and classed as 'fast' charge points by Tesla. The chargers will charge all EVs, type 1 and type 2 and useage is free to customers renting Belle Vue Barn.

    Far Moorside Farm is reached along a private track and visitors have ample parking. The visitors' entrance hall has room for outdoor and wet weather gear; there is a private cloakroom. Please no stiletto heels on the new oak floor. From the hall you walk in to the spacious guest lounge with large real fireplace, TV, books and games. The staircase is reached through the dining area; guest rooms are located on the upper floor. Please be aware, Far Moorside has livestock so we ask guests not to bring dogs. We have our own. We offer stabling and turnout for six horses and you can ride straight on to the moor. Cyclists may use cosy barns for secure cycle storage. Owing to our farm being on a steep hillside, wheelchair access is not possible as there are steps to all entrances. Bedroom 1 is a double room with an oversized double bed and a sofa bed for a child or special friend. There is the usual range of beverage making equipment, the small fridge on the landing holds fresh milk and whatever guests want to put in it. An ante room with drawers and cupboards leads to a newly furnished bathroom with a lovely rainforest shower and spacious bath. Bedroom 2 has twin beds, room cupboards, a nice view and the usual array of tea and coffee raw materials; milk in the landing fridge as for our double bedroom. The bathroom for the twin room only has a shower but there is a family size sauna for guests' use! Both rooms offer fantastic views over the Upper Calder Valley. Arrival times may be extended beyond the 2pm-8pm period subject to arrangement.

    Following the success of Tour de France, Welcome to Yorkshire, supported by Yorkshire Bank; have helped local communities set up bike banks to allow free bike hire.

    Used bikes are donated for free and then reconditioned and hired out, allowing children and adults to learn to ride, get fit or just enjoy their natural environment on a bike.

    A fabulous barn conversion now available as 5 Star self-catering holiday accommodation in an elevated position in Cragg Vale, an area of oustanding natural beauty near Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire. The surrounding countryside is ideal for exploring by foot; The Calderdale Way 50-mile walking route passes close by and there are many places of interest to be found within easy reach including the picturesque village of Haworth, once home to the famous Bronte sisters. Hebden Bridge itself has a rich industrial history and rapidly developed during the industrial revolution as mill owners made use of the valley sides to house their expanding workforce, giving the town its distinctive look. The town has now left its industrial past behind and is home to a unique range of shops, fine restaurants and traditional pubs. Old Cragg Hall Barn comprises of a large entrance hallway, master bedroom with king size four poster bed and en-suite shower room and two further bedrooms that can be configured as twin or super king size rooms. There is also a house bathroom with bath/shower. The large open plan living space is situated on the first floor, with a full glazed wall making the most of the fabulous views across Cragg Vale valley. This floor contains a well equipped kitchen, dining area and stylish and elegant living area with wood burning stove, ideal for those cosy evenings in.
