The August Bank Holiday weekend will see the start of the popular Hebden Bridge Camera Club Annual Exhibition and, this year, owing to Covid 19 and the impracticalities of arranging a physical exhibition at the Town Hall, it will take place on our website.

The exhibition will start on Saturday 29 August and is a showcase for the work of all our members. There will be both digital and film images, displaying a wide variety of categories, styles and techniques. We are hoping that visitors to our website will have the opportunity to vote for their favourites, which has proved so popular in previous years. The three winning images from last year's exhibition will also be on display.

The club usually meets at The Masonic Hall, Hangingroyd Lane, Hebden Bridge, every Wednesday evening at 7.45pm, from the beginning of September to the end of April. However, during Lockdown, the club has remained active by meeting online via Zoom.

New members are always welcome. Please contact us through our website for details of a free trial membership. Each year the club produces its own Hebden Bridge Calendar and the 2021 version will be available to purchase locally.

For more information, please visit our website.

This breathtaking show has rock ’n’ rolled audiences across the globe from Cardiff to California, Barking to Bangkok and Swindon to Sweden and is guaranteed to have everyone singing along to the music and dancing in the aisles. It stars some of the finest actor-musicians in the UK whose combined West End credits include Buddy, Lennon, Forbidden Planet and Jailhouse Rock and was endorsed as Britain’s most popular Buddy Holly act when the boys guested on BBC One's Saturday night live programme, “The One and Only”, hosted by Graham Norton. The show rarely pauses for breath and is, quite simply, the most compelling concert of its kind. 7.30pm

‘Are you ready for some filth? I know I am. Time once again for me to sally forth and pleasure the provinces with my particular brand of saucy innuendo. Let me at them!’

In this outrageously camp show, (that he was going to call Bed Knobs and Knee Pads but was advised might not sell too well in Harrogate), renowned homosexual Julian Clary will bare his soul as never before in the interests of light entertainment.

He’ll murder some well known songs along the way, no doubt, read you a sneak preview from his next memoir A Night At the Lubricant and make withering remarks about punters foolish enough to sit in the front row. You know the kind of thing. It’s the only life he knows. Don’t miss out.

This might well be the final mince…
