On the hillside rising up from Luddenden (named after Lud, the Celtic god of Water, king of the Trinovanes and founder of London), Vintage Cottage sits in the middle of an elevated Victorian terrace.

Stepping inside the cottage, the nostalgic charm of the carefully curated vintage and antique furniture will engulf you with a welcoming hug.

In the lounge, the plush and comfortable seating is arranged around the fireplace, which is the main focal point of the room. There are vintage table and chairs for you to enjoy sit-down meals. The bijou kitchen continues the traditional aesthetic whilst offering modern amenities for your convenience (electric oven, gas hob, microwave, voluminous fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as crockery, pans and cutlery etc).

Upstairs there are two cosy bedrooms, one of which hosts a lovely kingsize bed and the second bedroom has a full size single bed. Both beds are topped with the highest quality Harrison Spinks mattresses, hand made in Yorkshire. The bathroom has a full size bath, heated towel rail, loo and basin.

At the back of the cottage, five steps lead you up to a patio on the right, with a bistro table and chairs for alfresco dining. Passing under the arch, there is a shared lawn.

The property has gas central heating and free Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels will be provided for your stay. The EPC rating is D. There is on street parking.

Overall, Vintage Cottage is a haven for those seeking a blend of history, comfort and community. Luddenden is a small, quiet village. It’s part of the wider Halifax metropolitan area.
