The space
Step into a bright and welcoming open-plan interior designed living space that is both airy and cosy, curated with stylish design and thoughtful touches throughout.

The well-designed ergonomic kitchen comes fully equipped with an electric oven, induction hob, slimline dishwasher, fridge freezer, retro microwave and Dualit kettle and toaster.

In the living area, you’ll find a deep, comfortable sofa, a smart Panasonic TV, a charming Victorian fireplace and gold-accented side tables. A solid cast iron dining table paired with two original Bentwood bistro chairs adds character and charm.

The luxurious bedroom features a super king size bed with a handmade Yorkshire wool and cashmere pocket sprung mattress, luxury linen, feather and down super king pillows and a plush all natural topper for added comfort. A velvet armchair, slatted bamboo wardrobe and vintage-style dressing area complete the space.

The modern bathroom offers underfloor heating, an illuminated electric mirror, a Mira electric shower with built-in seating, and a stylish table-top basin, ideal for unwinding after a day of adventure.

French doors lead to a generous, private south-facing deck and garden. Dine alfresco at the bistro table or relax by the hand-built brick barbecue/fire pit. Bench seating and two Adirondack chairs with an adjacent herb garden create a lovely spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. A separate meadow picnic-bench offers elevated views and a peaceful dining setting, and sun loungers are available to invite you to soak up the sun on lazy afternoons.

The gravelled parking area sits conveniently close to the cottage.

Ideally located for exploring Calderdale and beyond, Maytree Cote is within short distance of several welcoming gastro pubs, restaurants and wedding venues. The Fleece Countryside Inn at Ripponden is within easy walking distance.

A short drive brings you to local gems like Shibden Hall, the historic Piece Hall in Halifax and Hebden Bridge. The Bronte country, Holmfirth and the Peak District are also within easy reach by car. Turners of Rishworth Farm Shop is less than a 10 minute drive away and specialises in quality Yorkshire produce.
