Brook House Cottage

Set amidst the stunning Yorkshire Moors and in the heart of Bronte Country, Brook House Cottage offers tranquility, culture and stunning scenery. The property boasts three large bedrooms each with an allocated shower and toilet room. Within the grounds of the house is a private fishing and boating lake, tennis court and woodland for guests to enjoy. Halifax Golf Club is a two minute walk from the cottage. A perfect location for families, walkers, fishermen, cyclists and golfers.

Guests can enjoy fishing in our fully stocked 3/4 acre pond. The last 12 months have been spent emptying, cleaning and refilling our pond which is set within the grounds, just 50 metres from the Cottage. An idyllic location to relax and fish. Please note: fishing lessons for novices can be arranged at an extra cost of £25 per session with a local expert fisherman.

If you enjoy a round of golf, The Halifax Golf Club is literally just around the corner from the cottage. It is a demanding 18 hole course set in the stunning Ogden Moors with breath-taking views. You can enjoy a drink and a great meal in the club house after a round and even a game of snooker!

Heron and Geese reside within the grounds (depending upon the time of year), and can be studied from the vantage point of our bird-watching hut located next to the lake. Remember to bring your binoculars, or ask to borrow ours! We also have wild deer that regularly roam the grounds.

Guests can enjoy freshly laid eggs daily from our family of hens!
