Lane Head Hotel

The Lane Head Hotel was originally built as a farm house in the 17th Century but was converted in the 18th Century and operated as a coaching inn. In the middle of the 19th Century the premises became a private home. Several modern additions have been made to the building over time, but many of the building’s historic aesthetic features still remain.

The eastern side of the building is the oldest and now houses a dining area and bar. Visitors that enter through the original stagecoach entrance will be warmly greeted by a magnificent fireplace. This is where you will find the restaurant area, which also boasts an additional two fireplaces to keep the room warm and cosy through the winter months.

At both the front and rear of the hotel there are car parks which are both free for guests.
