Welcome to The Old White Beare, your local dog-friendly pub in the beautiful village of Norwood Green, near Halifax. We are an independent family run business serving local people and surrounding areas. It sits on the Calderdale Way route, a 50 mile walking route around the borough of Calderdale.
Dating back to 1533, we offer a wide range of drinks served within the timbers of an Elizabethan galleon (The White Beare). From your favourite local cask ales, selected wines, perfectly chilled beers & a wide range of loved spirits. We also have a refreshing alcohol free option to choose from, we are sure to have something for everyone.
We are proud to use local suppliers including working with the award-winning Bolster Moor. From our kitchen, enjoy a variety of home cooked classics ‘Made in Yorkshire’ from our luscious lamb shanks, 100% British burgers, winning wild salmon plus a range of starters, bar snacks and tempting desserts – with vegetarian & vegan options available.
