The Friends of Friendless Churches and the Friends of St Matthew's Churchyard are opening Lightcliffe Tower to the public from 2 - 4 pm on our Working Party Sundays this summer 20th June, 18th July and 15th August to allow visitors to see inside the Tower and the memorials it contains, including Ann Walker's brass plaque.
Due to restrictions visitors will only be able to go up a few steps but that will be enough to see the plaques that were rescued when the old church was demolished 70 years ago.
You can read more about Ann Walker here.
