FREE February Half Term Activities at Orange Box

Starting 19th Feb 2018 See all Dates for this event

Monday 19th - Friday 23rd February Activities 2pm – 4pm

Recording Studio Open Access (Orange Box Anti-Bullying Campaign) 10am – 4pm

End of Week Celebration – Friday 4pm – 6pm

Create something stylish to wear, upcycle furniture, show your talents on our open mic stage, sing karaoke, be creative with arts and crafts, climb the bouldering tunnel, play table tennis, cook healthy meals and skate in the rooftop skate park. In addition to our activities running 2pm - 4 pm there will be open access to our recording studio as part of the Orange Box anti-bullying campaign. If you'd like to express your experiences and thoughts of bullying creatively, either through singing, rap, spoken word or instrumentation (drums, guitar, bass and keys provided or you can bring your own – all instruments welcome) then join us in the studio between 10am – 4pm during half term week. We will then put this together to make a collaborative track about bullying to help raise awareness in preparation for National Bullying Week held on the 12-16th of November.

Don’t forget our end of week celebration on Friday 4pm – 6pm with a DJ dance party and live performances! No need to book, just turn up - you will need to register when you arrive (with parent or carer if under 16) if you haven't already, or you can fill out a registration form here and bring it with you when you come.
