Walk around the Lower Brear environs, Shibden Estate

Event description
David Glover will lead a circular walk up to Lower Brear, and then on to Mytholm, talking about some of the properties which were owned by Anne Lister, and history along the way. If it is possible then we shall pay a visit inside Lower Brear. Should this happen then there will be no seating available inside the house, but this would be an exclusive opportunity to see inside one of Anne Lister’s ancient properties, tenanted in her time by George Robinson.
Meet by the café in Shibden Park: Coffee Culture In The Park, Mereside Centre, Shibden Park, HX3 6XG.
The walk will include some steep parts, and appropriate footwear/clothing should be worn.
There is no formal charge for this walk, however donations would be gratefully accepted.
