The UK’s smash hit Ska theatre experience, sweeping the nation, is coming to Halifax! Get ready for an electrifying night of music with Too Much Too Young – The Music of 2Tone & Beyond, a high-octane, two-hour theatre experience that takes audiences on an unforgettable ride through the ska sound that shaped generations.
This feel-good journey explores the birth of ska in Jamaica and follows its explosive history through to the British revival in the late ’70s and ’80s, celebrating the ground-breaking music and the legendary artists who made it a global phenomenon.
Described by the press as “The must-see show for any ska fan” and featuring a powerhouse live band, the production is a feast for the senses with stunning digital video displays, authentic instruments, clothing, vibrant set, and a dynamic cast that brings the spirit of the era to life.

Wheelchair access
Following recent improvements to the stalls seating area, we now offer easier access and better viewing locations for wheelchair users. So you can be assured of a comfortable and enjoyable experience, we have level access to the stalls from Commercial Street and provide two accessible toilets on the stalls level.
Hearing Impaired
The Victoria Theatre has an induction loop for hearing aid users in the auditorium and Box Office.
Additionally the Victoria Theatre now offers an infra-red audio system allowing customers in the Stalls and The Circle and to individually adjust the volume of the performance.
Visual Impairments
We now offer versions of our seasonal brochure in large print. Please contact the box office to request copies to be sent to you.
Guide dogs are welcome and we will be pleased to provide a bowl of water on request.
