Come along this Summer and plunge into a stunning all-singing, all-dancing, dynamic stage show of crazy new depths! When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!
And now he’s ready to ride the wave to the Halifax Victoria Theatre to entertain and delight all.
An exciting new musical featuring irresistible characters and magical music, this deep-sea pearl of a show is set to make a splash with audiences young and old. Based on Nickelodeon’s beloved animated series and starring some of the finest local amateur talent, HAOS Productions brings you this brilliant, bright, hilarious and brand-new musical boasting a tidal wave of original songs by the world’s most iconic rock and pop artists including Aerosmith, David Bowie, John Legend, Cyndi Lauper and many more. It’s a shore winner!

Wheelchair access
Following recent improvements to the stalls seating area, we now offer easier access and better viewing locations for wheelchair users. So you can be assured of a comfortable and enjoyable experience, we have level access to the stalls from Commercial Street and provide two accessible toilets on the stalls level.
Hearing Impaired
The Victoria Theatre has an induction loop for hearing aid users in the auditorium and Box Office.
Additionally the Victoria Theatre now offers an infra-red audio system allowing customers in the Stalls and The Circle and to individually adjust the volume of the performance.
Visual Impairments
We now offer versions of our seasonal brochure in large print. Please contact the box office to request copies to be sent to you.
Guide dogs are welcome and we will be pleased to provide a bowl of water on request.
