Born in Bradford in 1941, Doug Binder achieved renown in the swinging sixties as one of the ‘Young Contemporaries’. As a co-founder of iconic design group BEV (Binder, Edwards & Vaughn) he was a significant influence on the graphics of the era, while his cartoon-style paintings brought him international sales.
