Discover the next wave of comedy geniuses and join us for four hilarious and nail-biting Tuesday nights in October, as we search for the Halifax Comedy Festival’s Comedian of the Year 2025!
Each week, a new group of talented comedians will take to the stage, battling it out with their best jokes, one-liners, and stories to win a coveted spot in the Grand Final.
What’s even better is that entry to the heats is FREE! All you have to give is your time, encouragement and maybe a few laughs. PLUS every table will receive a FREE tray of fries to share!

The Grand Final takes place at the Festival Closing Party in the Victoria Theatre Green Room Bar on Sunday 2 November. Tickets to the final and closing party cost £16 and the evening includes sets from last year’s winner Mike Carter and Comedy Club favourite Rob Rouse. To book tickets click HERE.
