Doors open 7pm, talk starts 7.30pm. All are welcome.
Join us at the museum for this entertaining talk from renowned local historian David Glover.
Who was the great mycologist and naturalist from Sowerby in Georgian times?
Who was a pioneer in the early days of photography?
Which local man helped A G Bell develop the telephone?
Who designed the first tram system for Blackpool?
Who invented Linoleum and Lincrusta?
They all came from Calderdale.
Free entry to members of Calderdale Industrial Museum Association, £4 to visitors. Tea/coffee/biscuits will be available for a small donation.
Accessibility Information;
- Access is to the side of the Museum via our newly-installed ramp and stairs.
- Internally there are stairs and a lift to all floors.
- Disabled Parking is available by prior request.
