Silk Painting Workshop

Event description

Come and try your hand at silk painting at a 2 1/2 hour workshop at Simply Divine Things, 23 Market Street, Brighouse, HD6 1AR.

During this workshop you will:

– experiment with silk paints and learn how to create some different effects;
– have a go at creating resist lines and create an outline design to paint;
– paint some greeting cards;
– paint a floral square and make it into an origami gift box;
– paint your outline prepared silk.

All materials and refreshments will be included. An apron for your use during the workshop will be supplied, though do bring your own if you prefer. ‘Doesn’t matter clothes” are recommend as you will be working with paints, designed to stain fabric!
