Poetry Workshops at the Museum
Event description
Friends of Heptonstall Museum are proud to present Poetry workshops from 10am – 12 Noon on Saturday 29 April with Jodie on the topic of Poetry, Memory & Childhood tickets £15 (£12 concessions).
Each of our workshops can accommodate around a dozen students and will offer a unique opportunity for expert tuition in a welcoming and non-judgemental environments. Whether you’ve never written or want to simply explore different techniques or topics as an experienced writer, we’d love you to join us.
We’re very excited to be working with Dr Sarah Corbett, founder of the successful Sylvia Plath Literary Festival held last October who envisions the Museum as ‘the place for poetry in the Calder Valley‘ and has lined up a stellar guest list from Sprint to Autumn of both readings and workshops.
