For an evening of spoken word, poetry, and book readings, The “beautifully honest, engaging, and down to earth” Poet of Yorkshire will grace The Grayston Unity’s stage and present reading from her latest book, “another time in space”. Her work has been featured in The Guardian, The Big Issue North and on BBC Radio, and has been described as “A beacon of a poet who’s dark draws us all together, closer to safety”. It’s not often that spoken word comes to Halifax, but what a lovely and insightful Friday night you’d be in for. Enjoy a cozy, welcoming setting, a beverage of choice, and settle into a wholesome evening with Toria Garbutt, at The Grayston Unity on the 10th of May.
