SUMMARY:The Picture of Dorian Gray: A New Musical

After having a portrait painted of\nhimself by the accomplished artist Basil Hallward\, he makes a wish and is granted with the gift of eternal youth and good looks. \nAs he grapples with the notion of possessing immortality\, the picture growing old instead of him\, Dorian descends\, with the assistance of his greatest friend\, the witty\, influential and cynical aristocrat Lord Henry Wotton\, into an ever more debauched lifestyle of increasingly questionable morality\, the painting all the while absorbing his sins and wrongdoings into it’s canvas. \nThis new musical is heavily inspired by the dark\, classic\, sung-through musicals of the 1970’s and 1980’s. Set in two acts\, twenty years apart\, with classic staging\n…and a delicious overture! \n\nActing legend Kevin Kennedy (Coronation street\, Rock of Ages\, The Rocky Horror show) has been confirmed in the cast for “The Picture of Dorian Gray – A New Musical \n\nPLEASE NOTE: This is a new and original work.
