DESCRIPTION:Doors 10.30am. start 11am \nPart of the South Asian Heritage Festival \nHussnain Hanif is one of the UK’s leading nasheed artists\, and is much sought-after in educational work\, training ground-breaking nasheed choirs in London\, Lancashire and Yorkshire. He is also a presenter on BBC Radio Lancashire. \nThe morning workshop is an opportunity for all young people to learn and join in with nasheeds in various languages and in a variety of styles. The performance in the afternoon is a chance for everyone to hear and be inspired by our talented young people in the newly formed Calderdale Nasheed Choir. \nDaniel Bath is Musical Director of Music for the Many and has spent much of his career studying South Asian music and training young people in singing and playing South Asian music. \nTickets are FREE (NB Please book your places) \nAccessibility Information: \nAccess: Our building access provisions include: \n\nDrop off point on Blackledge*\nSeating spaces for wheelchair users in our auditoriums\nAccessible toilets\nA changing places room (please ask a member of staff for more information and access to this facility)\nImproved level access into the main entrance of the building\nLifts inside the building\nLoop hearing systems in place in our auditoriums (ask at Box Office for more information)\nConcessions are available for patrons with disabilities.\n\n*Drop off point: We have a drop off point at the bottom of Blackledge (the cobbled lane leading up to Square Chapel. \nPlease call us on 01422 353 073 if you need further advice and information about our accessible facilities.
