The team behind the wonderful and award-winning A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Merchant of Venice return to bring to life one of William Shakespeare’s much loved romantic comedies:
In this production the world-weary Benedick and his friend Claudio are not returning from war however, but from a long innings at the stump to find themselves reacquainted with Beatrice and Hero who have laid on tea and sandwiches in the pavilion. As Claudio and Hero fall madly, deeply in love, Benedick and Beatrice reignite their own altogether more combative courtship.
