SUMMARY:Meet @ Millers Family Fun Day
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a FREE family fun day full of collectable cars\, outdoor climbing and characters from a galaxy far\, far away at Meet @ Millers on Saturday July 29. \nStar Wars cosplayers Mos Eisley Misfitswill be patrolling our giant beer garden and car park looking for selfies with visitors\, so come and meet them for free from around 12pm to 5pm with breaks. \nWe’ll be getting revved up with the guys from auto sanctuary Motoburo who’ll be here with a display of classic and collectible cars on show in our main car park. \nAnd you can take on the UK’s highest outdoor man-made climbing wall ROKTFACE for the first time in years on the day – just pay to top rope climb and our instructors will look after you including belaying and encouragement! It is £15 per person per climb (cash or card) with gear included (please see further below) on a pay and queue basis between around 12pm and 5pm. \nThe Millers chefs will also be running a tasty outdoor BBQ in our massive canalside beer garden\, plus our outdoor bar will be open too. \nThe event is free\, but we’d welcome any cash you can spare for our chosen charity Overgate Hospice. And anyone taking on the climb at ROKTFACE will be supporting fundraising for the ROKT Foundation charity – so you get to help two amazing local charities and have fun! \nNo booking necessary. \nImportant stuff to note: \nFor customer parking on the day\, please kindly use the main ROKT car park opposite or council car park facing Millers for this event.\nThe event is subject to weather so if it’s raining heavy or continually the event may be cancelled.\nAs it’s a live event\, characters and cars are subject to change without notice.\nPlease make sure you supervise your children throughout and don’t touch characters or cars.\nWaiver/disclaimer and checks by instructors required before climbing ROKTFACE (which is not suitable for young children).\nTwo lines will hopefully be running and all gear will be provided likes ropes\, harness etc. Please ask team on day. Top rope only\, no leading.\nStrictly no alcohol before climbing.
