“A wave of intense garage rock inspired by everyday experiences” – Upset
“They sound like a bar fight between The Black Keys, Queens Of The Stone Age and Idles” – Gigwise
“Huddersfield may not have many hugely recognisable bands currently, but this album will surely change that.” –Punktastic
Huddersfield garage rock stalwarts Knuckle will release their second album, ‘Life’s a Bench, Then They Put Your Name On It’ via beloved Wakefield DIY label Philophobia Music on 17th February 2023. Their first new music since the band’s searing 2019 debut, ‘Life Is Hard When You’re Soft Inside’, this sophomore release is a characteristically raucous affair. At times furious, gentle and hilarious ‘Life’s a Bench…’ is a complex documentation of their own lives and those around them in their home town Huddersfield.
Support from PEAK LOW returns Feb 2023 to launch part II of The Golden Hour EP collection. PEAK LOW is a one-man operation from the North West, capable of creating a grand and magnetic sound. Influenced by Radiohead, FOALS, The War on Drugs, QOTSA, and M83 PEAK LOWs dynamic sound can go from the ethereal to swaggering rock with ease. Joined on stage by full backing band PEAK LOW’s stately indie rock exudes fortitude and stands proud as a bastion for modern guitar music.
