2pm – 4pm
The Friends of Friendless Churches and the Friends of St Matthew’s Churchyard are opening Lightcliffe Tower to the public from 2 – 4 pm on Saturday 14th May and Sunday 15th May, to allow visitors to see inside the Tower and the memorials it contains, including Ann Walker’s brass plaque.
Come and see the restored Ann Walker memorial as well as those to her parents, siblings including her brother John Walker who died on honeymoon in Naples, her young nephews George Sackville Sutherland and John Walker Sutherland and her niece ‘Little Mary’ Sutherland.
No charge for this although a small donation would be most welcome.
