Lantern Making Workshops for the Spectacular Halifax Starlight Parade
Event description
We are delighted to bring back the Halifax Winter Parade this year after it’s huge success in 2023. This year the STAR LIGHT Winter parade has been commissioned by Halifax BID, produced by Handmade Productions CIC in partnership with Culturedale.
Be part of the event by joining this fun lantern making workshop to make a lantern to carry in the parade which is on 30th November at 4:00pm in the centre of Halifax.
The workshops are FREE and for everyone but booking is essential as places are limited.
Dates:
Sat 9th November : 10-12pm and 2-4pm
Sat 16th November : 10-12pm and 2-4pm
Sat 23rd November : 10-12pm and 2-4pm

Saturday 30th November: 11am – 2pm
This event day workshop is also at the Albany Arcade and will be a drop in (no booking required).
Our artist will have all the materials you will need and be on hand to guide you to make your very own lantern.
The activity is best suited for ages 4 and up and all children MUST be accompanied by an adult. It takes about 1.5 hours to make a lantern so please arrive on time to be able to complete your lantern.
You will find us in the Albany Arcade of the Borough Market in Halifax.
