Jubb’s Comedy Club: Mc Aaron Twitchen, Peter Brush, Karen Bayley

Jubb’s comedy club was created in loving memory of our bar manager’s cat who sadly passed away recently.

To cheer her up we decided to bring the hottest comedy talent on the scene today to Square Chapel, including some well-known faces as well as stars of the future!

Each show will host a range of comedy styles from professional comics regularly playing clubs across the UK, some of whom are familiar faces on TV.

MC – Aaron Twitchen Aaron is a highly energetic MC a crowd favourite on the circuit. He’s been featured on Darren Harriot’s Red Label on BBC Radio 4 and is also a trained circus performer.

Opener – Peter Brush A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes. A former BBC New Comedy Award finalist, Peter performs at clubs all over the UK and abroad. He has written for BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Show What You Wrote and Newsjack and was the support act for Alexei Sayle’s 020 show. Peter has also been Tour Support for Jonathan Pie, Jason Manford, Fern Brady, Arthur Smith and Paul Sinha.

Closer – Karen Bayley Delightfully saucy, her friendly and confident stage presence, combined with a killer wit, an infectious giggle and some devastating one-liners make her a comedic force to be reckoned with, warm and welcoming with a delightfully saucy and spiky edge, her bold, no nonsense attitude strikes a perfect pitch with men and women alike. Karen has recently supported Joe Lycett on his UK Tour and written for 8 Out of Ten Cats Does Countdown.
