Come along to our family-friendly open day!
We are carrying out important water saving repairs to Lock number 9 which will allow members of the public a fantastic and rare opportunity to observe the work that is being carried out at this historic lock – whilst it is drained!
Our specialists will be on hand to describe the work taking place and we’ll be hosting some free canal-themed activities.
The Open day includes:
- the opportunity to observe the work taking place in our drained lock.
- Have-a-go canoe sessions
- Guided heritage walks
- Stone masonry workshops
- Family activities from our Explorers team
FREE entry. No need to book, just turn up between 10am & 2pm.
